Our Journey

KP Landscapes was founded by Matthew Kuczek at the age of 12 under the name Matt's Mowing and Maintenance. Initially operating on a mountain bike with a homemade blue wooden cart, Matthew gradually improved and expanded the business. After two years of challenges and slow growth, the company transitioned to a golf cart in 2021, signaling progress. By 2022, with the acquisition of a truck and the addition of hired employees, KP Landscapes took another significant step forward.

In June 2023, the company welcomed a second truck which is dedicated to mowing. The truck was dubbed the Green Machine. Around the same time, Jack Phillips joined the team, displaying remarkable aptitude and passion for the business during his interview and training. Recognizing Jack's invaluable contribution, he was offered a partnership by late August 2023. This milestone led to the transformation of the company's name and mission to KP Landscapes, reflecting a new era of commitment to excellence in every aspect of landscaping services.
